At the beginning of September 2009, PFS Precision Finishing Systems AG in Stans and Niederberger Schleif- und Polierautomaten AG in Kriens got together and united their systems, products and services under the name Niederberger Precision Finishing Solutions AG. The company is based in Niederberger’s historical home of Kriens near Lucerne.

The new NIEDERBERGER – Precision Finishing Solutions AG offers comprehensive systems in the field of surface processing.

2002: Patenting of the automatic measurement system, updating of the planet brush consumables

2001: Development of the DiRotex® unit and special diamond grinding discs and brushes.

1999: Development of the NCS-P6 range for dual-sided part processing with planet brush heads mounted top and bottom.

1993: Construction of the first chained deburring system for dual-sided processing of clutch plates.

1989: Development of the Rotex® unit and associated tooling technologies (brushes, plate grinding discs)

1979: The flat grinding machines for deburring fine stamped parts are now equipped with twin-motor
1979: planet brush head units. The power-related balancing is patented.

1969: Construction of the first rotary indexing table and the first rotary polishing table machine.

1965: The flat grinding machine series is extended with the NCS-P 4 series. Sale of the first RS series

1953: Founding of Niederberger + Brunner (NIBRU) as dealership for electrical power tools and
